1 dead when Honda rolls several times on toll road
“Car on north 241 ended up in median, then caught fire, CHP says.”
ORANGE A car that rolled and then caught fire on the northbound side of the 241 toll road at Santiago Canyon Road has left at least one person dead, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officer Gabe Montoya of the CHP said at about 5:45 a.m., a white Honda Accord rolled over several times, ended up in the center median and caught fire.
Fire and rescue crews were dispatched 20 minutes later and found the No. 1 lane blocked by the car. Montoya said witnesses reported one person in the car.
