19-year-old woman who died in Irvine crash ID’d

“Pinole resident died following one-car crash in Shady Canyon.”

A second person has been identified who died following a crash in Irvine on Thursday.
Arlene Tjandrawansa, 19, of Pinole, was pronounced dead at 3:50 a.m. Friday at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana.
The single-car crash left two people dead and three hospitalized around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday in Irvine’s Shady Canyon neighborhood, just east of Sunny Hill.
A 1993 Honda had crashed into a wall near a guard shack outside the gated community. The cause is still under investigation.
Daniel Tran, 18, of Westminster, also died as a result of the crash. The identities of the other three victims, who were taken by paramedics to local hospitals, have not been released.
