2 hurt, splashed with paint in freeway crash
ORANGE Lanes were closed Tuesday morning after two vehicles collided on the southbound I-5 just north of State College Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, involving a Toyota pickup and a Chevy cargo van, was reported to the CHP at 7:58 a.m.
Two were taken to the hospital, according to MetroNet, a fire dispatcher service. Anaheim and Orange firefighters were on scene.
The pickup was equipped with a tool bed and upon crashing, yellow paint splashed on the victims and on freeway lanes.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 8:21 a.m. for the car-pool and No. 1 lanes.
Lanes re-opened at 8:54 a.m.
