2 injured in crash on freeway transition in San Dimas

SAN DIMAS – Two people suffered “moderate” injuries today in a collision involving a truck and another vehicle on a freeway transition road in the San Dimas area, authorities said.

The accident occurred about 7 a.m. on the transition from the southbound Orange (57) Freeway to the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway, said Los Angeles County fire Capt. Mike Brown.

Firefighters freed one person from the wreckage. The injured people were airlifted to a hospital, Brown said. The transition road was blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.
