3 Dead In Early Morning House Fire In Hesperia
Authorities say an early morning house fire in San Bernardino County has left two boys and their father dead and a young sister hospitalized in critical condition.
County fire Captain Josh Sprague tells a local television news station that firefighters arrived at the flaming house in Hesperia at about 1 a.m. Monday with the father and two boys still inside.
He says a 9-year-old boy and his 34-year-old father died at the scene and a 4-year-old boy later died at a hospital.
Sprague says a 10-year-old girl, who along with her mother had escaped the house through a bedroom window before firefighters arrived, was in critical condition at a hospital.
There was no immediate word on the mother’s condition.
