FULLERTON A 75-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after she was struck by a Nissan Sentra Wednesday morning, police said.
The incident occurred at around 9:45 a.m. in the 3100 block of Yorba Linda Boulevard as the woman was walking her dog.
According to Fullerton police officer K. MacDonald, the woman stepped in the westbound lanes of Yorba Linda Boulevard to go around a car that was exiting an apartment complex driveway.
The man driving the Sentra tried to avoid her but she was struck, police said. The car spun out and ended up on the sidewalk.
