80-year-old motorcycle rider crashes
An elderly motorcycle rider went down after colliding with another vehicle on Talbert Avenue between Beach Boulevard and Newland Street this morning.
The motorcycle rider was around 80 years old.
“He’s up and walking around and talking, but we’re taking this more seriously, because at that age, sometimes injuries aren’t apparent right away,” said Lt. Craig Bryant of the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Police have closed that stretch of Talbert for an investigation, Bryant said.
The accident was reported at 11:47 a.m. The details of the collision weren’t immediately known
