At least 3 vehicles crash, blocking lane, on-ramp
MISSION VIEJO Traffic has come to a crawl on the southbound I-5 at Oso Parkway after at least three vehicles were involved in a crash this morning, blocking four lanes and the on-ramp, the California Highway Patrol said.
The CHP responded to reports of the collision at 7:01 a.m.
So far, three tow trucks have been called to remove the vehicles, which include a heavy-duty steak-bed truck, CHP officer Denise Quesada said.
The CHP did not immediately report whether anyone was injured but an ambulance was requested.
A SigAlert issued for the Nos. 2, 3, 4 and carpool lanes as well as the Oso on-ramp at 7:15 a.m. By 7:31 a.m., three lanes reopened to traffic.
