Beloved Teacher At Monrovia School Killed In Crash
Students at Mayflower Elementary School in Monrovia are mourning the loss of a beloved kindergarten teacher who was killed in a collision over the weekend.
Maggie Clark, 44, suffered fatal injuries when a pickup truck reportedly crossed to the wrong side of the road and struck her sport utility on Gilman Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
She was on her way to a teacher’s conference with a colleague, who was injured in the accident.
“Teachers and our counseling staff are going to be in the classrooms talking to kids about loss and about Mrs. Clark and how wonderful a teacher she was,” Kirk McGinnis, the school’s principal said.
