Car crashes into 2 buildings in residential neighborhood

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO – A car crashed into a home this morning, authorities said, but no injuries have been reported so far.

Paramedics were called to the 32000 block of Via Buena at 10:56 a.m. after officials received a call of a car that crashed into two buildings in the residential area, said Capt. Greg McKeown of the Orange County Fire Authority.

The car crashed into the garage of a home, but no one appears to have been injured, he said.

Authorities are currently investigating what caused the driver to crash into the home.

Authorities are also requesting building inspectors to respond to the area to check the stability of the structure, McKeown said.
