Cars overturned on I-5 freeway

IRVINE – Three lanes were briefly closed on the I-5 freeway near Jeffrey Road today after two vehicles overturned, officials reported.

At about 1:45 p.m., several vehicles crashed after two vehicles tried to change lanes at the same time, according to California Highway Patrol reports. Two vehicles overturned and the second, third, and fourth lanes were closed, the report said.
