Custodian apparently electrocuted at lunch
A 50-year-old Indio school maintenance worker apparently was electrocuted during the lunch hour yesterday at an elementary school in that city, according to Riverside County coroner’s officials and local police.
James Jeffredo died within minutes of the 12:47 p.m. accident Monday at Amelia Earhart School along the 42500 block of Dune Palms Road.
Because of the summer holidays, school was not in session, a police spokesman said. No details have been released on how the incident may have occurred.
