Driver and bicyclist with baby collide
A vehicle collided with a bicycling mother carrying a baby on Oct. 23, according to a call made to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was riding with her 11-month-old about 9:16 a.m. last Friday when the driver of black Ford Taurus collided with her near Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida De Los Fundadores.
The baby was uninjured and the mother reportedly had a small bruise and complained of pain.
Officials determined the incident was not a hit and run, as the man reportedly stopped to converse with the woman after the incident, according to Administrative Sgt. Matthew Barr.
No arrest was made.
