Fashion photographer killed in Joshua Tree

A well-known Brazilian-born fashion photographer was killed yesterday when he was hit by a car while doing a photo shoot in Johsua Tree, according to San Bernardino County coroner’s officials.

A 1996 Mazda hit 51-year-old Alberto Jose Serejo, of Denmark, at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday along the 61200 block of Highway 62, coroner’s investigators said in a written statement.

Serejo was taken to High Desert medical Center where he died at 6:22 p.m.
