Lanes Reopened On Highway 101 After Car Flips
Two lanes have reopened on U.S. Highway 101 near downtown Los Angeles after authorities cleared an overturned car.
California Highway Patrol Officer Krystal Carter says the accident was reported shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday, and lanes reopened just after 8 a.m. She says it’s possible another vehicle was involved, and two tow trucks were sent to the scene.
Officers had closed two northbound lanes while paramedics tended to a woman’s injuries.
Carter says the woman was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital while her Honda Civic was towed.
The accident is under investigation.
