Man, baby rescued after car flips
A man and a baby were pulled from a car that flipped over in a traffic accident at Warner Avenue and Ross Street around 1:30 p.m.
At least one ambulance and two tow trucks were sent to the scene, although it was not immediately known how serious the injuries were.
According to witness Paul Neuland, a red Honda was making a turn onto Warner when it collided with a black, four-door Toyota sedan.
The Toyota came to rest on its hood after the crash, blocking all traffic on eastbound Warner.
Rescue workers pulled a man and a baby from the Toyota.
The elderly woman driving the Honda was taken to the hospital, Neuland said. She did not appear to be seriously injured, he said.
“I heard a errrr and then boom,” Neuland said.
