Man killed in crash with parked big-rig ID’d
Authorities have released the name of a 20-year-old Yucaipa man killed last night after he crashed a compact car into the back of a parked big-rig along Interstate 10 in Redlands.
Victor John Partnoff died within 20 minutes of the 6:24 p.m. wreck Tuesday just east of Wasbash Avenue, according to San Bernardino County coroner’s officials.
Partnoff was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
The 18-wheeler was stopped along the right shoulder of the traffic lanes because of mechanical problems. California Highway Patrol officers are investigating.
