Man plunges from moving car, dies

A 29-year-old Redlands man died Monday after plunging from a moving car onto a street in Muscoy, according to San Bernardino County coroner’s officials.

Eusodio Castillo was a front seat passenger in a Mitsubishi pickup truck that was traveling south on Macy Street at 2:14 p.m. Monday when — for an unknown reason — he hit the pavement at Blake Street, deputy coroners said in a written statement.

Castillo was taken to Community Hospital of San Bernardino where he died at 2:53 p.m. The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
