Mission Viejo crash clogs traffic
Traffic was jammed this afternoon at the intersection of Jeronimo Road and Marguerite Parkway after a two-car crash around 3:30 p.m. today, said Kris Concepcion of the Orange County Fire Authority.
A smaller Ford vehicle and a large Ford F550 truck were involved in the accident, said Sgt. John Meyer of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. A 70-year-old man in the smaller vehicle suffered an injury and was transported to Kaiser Permanente in Irvine for treatment, Concepcion said.
A tow truck was requested to move the Ford F550, Meyer said.
One OCFA paramedic fire engine and sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, Concepcion said.
Firefighters left at 4:06 p.m., Concepcion said.
