Motorcyclist crashes into big-rig
FULLERTON A motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital after colliding with a big-rig at the intersection of Raymond and Chapman avenues around 12:20 p.m.
The motorcycle ruptured the fuel tank on the driver’s side, spilling diesel into the street, police said.
The eastbound lanes of Chapman could be closed for around an hour, Sgt. Dan Bohling of the Fullerton Police Department said.
Firefighters used dirt dikes to contain the fuel gathering in the gutter.
The motorcycle was headed east on Chapman, and the big-rig was making a right turn onto eastbound Chapman at the time of the crash.
