Motorcyclist injured in freeway crash
A motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle on the southbound 57 near the westbound 91, blocking several lanes Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported to the CHP at 7:55 a.m.
According to MetroNet, a fire dispatcher service, the motorcyclist was taken to UCI Medical Center.
Initial reports made to the CHP indicated the motorcyclist was down in the middle lane and was sitting up.
A SigAlert was called at 8:12 a.m. The No. 1, 2, and 3 lanes were blocked. Lanes were clear 20 minutes later.
