Motorcyclist injured in hit-and-run

COSTA MESA – A motorcyclist was injured Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash on the southbound I-405 connector to the southbound 73, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported to the CHP at 8:50 a.m.

CHP officer Gabe Montoya said a flatbed commercial truck fled the scene.

Firefighters, paramedics, and two vehicles were on scene.
A SigAlert was called at 9:12 a.m. for the No. 1 and 2 lanes on the connector road. It was canceled eight minutes later.
