One dead in Murrieta wreck
One person died and three were hurt last night during a traffic wreck just east of I-215 at the northern boundary of Murrieta, according to the California Highway Patrol website and Riverside County Fire Department officials.
The accident was reported at 10:59 p.m. Thursday at Scott and Antelope Roads, said fire department Capt. Lori Windsor. One person suffered a heart attack and was taken to a hospital in full cardiac arrest, she said.
By 1:44 a.m., the person had died, according to the CHP website.
Riverside County coroner’s officials and sheriff’s deputies are investigating the wreck. Coroner’s investigators have released no information on the incident. And a sheriff’s spokesman could not be reached this morning for details.
