ORANGE Authorities are searching for two people who fled the scene of a crash next to El Modena High School on Thursday, November 11, 2010 that left two people injured, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a black Lincoln and a grey pickup at Swidler Street and Spring Street just before 8:45 p.m., Orange police Lt. Phil Casto said.
Authorities believe that one of the vehicles ran a stop sign, colliding with the other car. The driver and passenger then fled on foot, Casto said.
The driver and a passenger in the other vehicle were reportedly taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to call the Orange Police Department at 714-744-7444.
