A woman died after her vehicle collided with another car in a Lake Forest intersection Friday, authorities said.
A 2007 Toyota Tacoma collided with a 2009 Hyundai Accent in the intersection of Bake Parkway and Pointe Drive at 11:11 a.m. Friday, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Jansen said.
The driver of the Hyundai, who authorities say appears to be a woman in her early 20’s, was taken to Mission Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Jansen said.
It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
Authorities have issued a SigAlert in the area: The eastbound lanes of Bake are shut down near Pointe.
Officials haven’t yet determined which vehicle had right of way, Jansen said.
