Teen killed while crossing street

A 15-year-old Ontario pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday while crossing a street outside the cross-walk, police say.

The accident happened at 2:16 p.m. Wednesday along Grove Avenue just north of Fifth Street. The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives.

The 21-year-old driver stopped and was not arrested.
