Trader Joe’s recalls granola bars
Trader Joe’s Co. of Monrovia, is recalling select lot codes of 7.4-ounce boxes of chocolate chip chewy coated granola bars, because they could be contaminated with salmonella. This organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.
The recalled bars were manufactured by Bloomfield Bakery, a subsidiary of Ralcorp Holdings Inc. No illness has been reported.
