Two dead in Joshua Tree accident
A woman found lying outside an overturned vehicle is among two people killed during a pre-dawn traffic accident in Joshua Tree, according to the California Highway Patrol Web site.
The woman apparently was ejected when the vehicle flipped, according to initial reports from the scene. The accident was first reported at 6:58 a.m. The deaths were reported at 7:25 a.m.
The location is in the general vicinity of Hemmingway Campground. No other details are available.
