Victim in deadly SUV wreck ID’d

This week’s car wreck in the hills west of Temecula killed a 44-year-old local man whose SUV ran off a roadway, hit a chain link fence and plummeted to the bottom of a ravine, according to Riverside County coroner’s officials.

Marc Alan Brown was pronounced dead at 7:30 a.m. Monday in the ravine near Carancho Road and Corte Bonita. The discovery was made about 7 a.m., but it’s unclear when the accident happened, investigators have said.
