Woman, 81, Drives Car Into 3 Bicyclists

Authorities say a car driven by an 81-year-old woman has struck three bicyclists, critically injuring two, in Calabasas.

A third cyclist received minor injuries in Monday morning crash a dozen miles northwest of Los Angeles.

California Highway Patrol Officer Leland Tang says the eastbound car was making a left turn at an intersection on Mulholland Highway when it struck three westbound cyclists at about 7:30 a.m.

Tang says there’s no stop sign or traffic signal at the location.

The driver wasn’t hurt.

TV reports showed the Audi A4 with a fractured windshield and a smashed back window.
