Woman dies after getting out of car on 60 freeway in Diamond Bar
DIAMOND BAR – The California Highway Patrol says a woman who pulled over her car on a Southern California freeway to talk to a passenger has been struck and killed by a big rig.
Officials say 26-year-old Blanca Aguirre was struck just after midnight Monday on the 60 freeway in Diamond Bar.
CHP Officer Anthony Martin says the woman stopped on the side of the freeway and got out to talk to her woman passenger. She was struck by the truck as she walked back to the driver’s side of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
