Woman hospitalized after crash
SANTA ANA A woman was taken to a hospital after a collision involving a gray SUV and a white truck on the southbound 5 freeway just north of Main Street.
The dark gray Chevy Trailblazer rear-ended a white Isuzu stakebed truck, briefly lifting the truck onto the roof of the SUV. A woman who was driving the Trailblazer was take to a hospital in a cervical collar.
The accident was report to California Highway Patrol at 9:53 a.m.
According to witness reports, the collision resulted in debris being left in lanes.
Both vehicles were moved to the right shoulder by 9:57 a.m.
Santa Ana Fire Department responded to the scene.
A tow truck was trying to get there but was stuck in traffic as of 10:30 a.m., said CHP officer Denise Quesada.
