Woman killed in Terminal Island Fwy crash from Long Beach
LONG BEACH – Authorities today identified a woman who was killed when a car failed to stop at the end of the northbound Terminal Island Freeway and struck a building in Long Beach.
The deceased woman was identified as Holly Dawn White, 45, of Long Beach, a coroner’s investigator said.
The crash at the freeway’s northern end at Willow Street was reported at 12:05 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The freeway ends abruptly at a T-bone intersection with Willow.
White was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Long Beach police investigated the crash.
