Woman pulled from overturned car on freeway
ANAHEIM Rescuers pulled a woman out of an overturned vehicle this morning on the southbound I-5 just north of Disneyland Drive.
Two lanes are blocked, the California Highway Patrol says.
At 10:32 a.m., the CHP responded to a call about an overturned dark-colored Nissan Sentra on the right shoulder.
CHP officer Clint Naples said that when he arrived at the scene, he found a woman sitting upside down still in her seatbelt inside the vehicle.
Naples waited for firefighters to arrive to remove the woman.
The Nos. 4 and 5 lanes are blocked approaching the Lincoln Avenue on-ramp.
The woman has been taken to UCI Medical Center. A firefighter at the scene said her condition is described as stable
