La Mirada parolee accused of selling meth, cocaine
A 28-year-old parolee from La Mirada was arrested Tuesday on charges of selling more than a pound of methamphetamine, as well as cocaine, according to federal prosecutors.
Matthew Belling, who allegedly sold more than a pound of meth in a drug deal in December in Garden Grove, was charged last week with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine.
Belling has a lengthy criminal history that includes convictions for attempted murder, possession of marijuana for sale, making or possessing a dangerous weapon and smuggling drugs into a jail, according to prosecutors, who said he was also convicted in federal court for counterfeiting.
Belling could face at least 10 years in prison if convicted at trial.
