1. Newport Beach hotel rooms on average cost $290.31 a night, up $5.16 in 12 months or 1.8 percent.
2. Among seven Orange County regions tracked by CBRE, Newport Beach room rates were the priciest.
3. Countywide, room rates averaged $191.36 per night, up $7.14 in a year or 3.9 percent.
4. Newport Beach hotels in 2018’s first five months were 81.6 percent full, up from 80.9 percent a year earlier.
