Field of 6 will challenge incumbent Don Sedgwick in Laguna Hills council race

Six challengers will take on incumbent Don Sedgwick as they vie for three seats on Laguna Hills City Council in November.

The challengers are:

David Robbins – real estate executive

David “Dave” Wheeler – retired

Len Herman – Realtor

Christina “Chris” Mackey – community volunteer

Mark Jones – business owner

Erica Pezold – small business owner

Councilwomen Melody Carruth and Barbara Kogerman are not seeking re-election.

The general municipal election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 6.
