Tyler Justinrobe Brown, who was arrested last Wednesday, pleaded not guilty Friday to three counts of kidnapping and one count of first-degree robbery.

The robbery happened about 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at a Wells Fargo branch inside a Stater Bros. grocery store at 22351 El Toro Road. Brown entered the bank just about the time it closed and allegedly fled with a “large sum of money,” said Carrie Braun of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Brown was being held without bail pending an Oct. 9 pretrial hearing at the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach.
