Man fatally injured in Lake Forest; two arrested on suspicion of homicide
Authorities arrested two suspects on suspicion of homicide following a disturbance in Lake Forest on the morning of Monday, Oct. 1.
A resident at the Forest Glen Apartment Community at 25092 Farthing St. called police at about 5:50 a.m. Monday after finding a seriously injured man who had collapsed in a courtyard, according to a news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
It said a victim in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not immediately released by authorities.
Further investigation by Homicide investigators led to the arrest of two suspects, Jose Andrade-Membreno, 22, and Xiomara Berrios, 18. Both were arrested and booked into Orange County Jail early this morning. They are being held on $1 million bail. pic.twitter.com/RF7EiXg9ks

An investigation led deputies to arrest Jose Andrade-Membreno, 22, and Xiomara Berrios, 18 in Lake Forest, said the release. It did not specify their cities of residence.
The two were booked at an Orange County jail and were held on $1 million bail, each, and expected to appear for arraignment within a week.
Information about the victim’s cause of death and further circumstances regarding the incident was not immediately available from authorities on Tuesday evening.
