Police: Man leans into McDonald’s drive-thru window in Buena Park, grabs cash from till and drives off

A man sped away from the drive-thru of a Buena Park McDonald’s after lifting a fistful of cash from the window clerk’s till on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Buena Park Police released photos on the department Facebook page of a man reaching into the drive-thru window of the McDonald’s at 5900 Beach Blvd. as he grabs money from a cash register just before 1:30 a.m.

In the post, authorities say the suspect shoved an employee before driving away in a gray or silver sedan with black rims, tinted windows and paper plates.

He was in his 20s, according to the post, and was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
