Pedestrian fatally injured in Orange hit-and-run
ORANGE — A hit-and-run driver struck and fatally injured a pedestrian Tuesday in Orange.
The 58-year-old victim was in a crosswalk at Glassell Street and Katella Avenue when she was struck by a white pickup truck about 6:30 a.m., said Sgt. Rob Thorsen of the Orange Police Department.

The woman was walking east to west, and the truck was going north on Glassell, making a right-hand turn to go east, Thorsen said.The victim, whose name was not imediately released, died at an area hospital, he said.
