2 dead after traffic accident in Anaheim

Two people died following a traffic collision Friday on State College Boulevard in Anaheim.

At about 5:09 p.m., Anaheim police responded to an accident involving an overturned vehicle and a toppled motorcycle, Sgt. Daron Wyatt said.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while Anaheim fire officials transported the other man to a local hospital with serious injuries, Wyatt said. Their identities were not immediately made public.

Wyatt said the second man died at the hospital at about 5:27 p.m.

Both sides of State College Boulevard were closed between Vermont Avenue and Ball Road as officials conducted an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
