Kim and Kourtney Kardashian among those evacuating due to Woolsey fire in Calabasas area
Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian have fled the Calabasas area as of early Friday due to evacuations ordered in the wake of the Woolsey fire, which jumped the 101 Freeway into the Agoura Hills area.
The reality TV stars kept fans updated via their Instagram feeds, according to USA Today.
“Pray for Calabasas,” was what Kim Kardashian West wrote to accompany a photo of the fires in her Instagram Story.
Instagram Stories are Snapchat-like feature of the Facebook-owned platform. Like Snaps, they disappear in 24 hours.
Kardashian West was out of town when the fires began.
“Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe,” she wrote on Instagram. “Fire fighters are arriving. Thank you for all that you do for us!!!”
Her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, also evacuated, she said on her Instagram Story, according to USA Today.
Along with a picture of her packed-up vehicle, she wrote, “I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires. No Calabasas tonight.”
The duo’s younger sister, Khloé, was clearly worried about them and their homes, tweeting “The flames have jumped the 101!! I need an evacuation update please.”
Other celebrities were also evacuating the Calabasas area due to the approaching wildfire, according to USA Today.
Actress Alyssa Milano tweeted, “I just had to evacuate my home from the fires. I took my kids, dogs, computer and my Doc Marten boots.”

“The Office” star Rainn Wilson — a former Van Nuys resident — also fled, noting that his pigs and dogs are safe:
My House has been evacuated due to nearby fires in Thousand Oaks. (The pigs & dogs are fine, thank you) Please send your prayers to the people of Thousand Oaks and the victims of the shooting that are now having to evacuate their homes and neighborhoods. Then send them some cash.

Scott Baio, the “Happy Days”-era Chachi-turned-conservative firebrand, was also ready to flee:
