In Southern California, the massive Woolsey fire doubled in size to 70,000 acres, officials said as it pushed from Ventura County into the San Fernando Valley.
In Northern California, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said Saturday that Camp fire grew to 156 square miles but it’s 20 percent contained.
Cal Fire says the blaze that started Thursday in the hills near the town of Paradise destroyed 6,453 homes and 260 businesses.
