Woman expected to survive after being stabbed multiple times in Fullerton
A woman was hospitalized after she was stabbed in Fullerton, but was expected to survive her injuries, authorities said.
About 10:30 p.m., Fullerton officers responded to the 2300 block of Iris Court on a report of a possible stabbing. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been stabbed multiple times, Sgt. Carin Wright said.
She was transported to a trauma center and was treated for her injuries, Wright said.
After conducting a search of the nearby neighborhood, officers found a man matching the description of the suspect who was in possession of a “possible stabbing weapon,” Wright said.
Terele Jones, 23, of Anaheim was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder and burglary, she said.
Police do not have a motive for the stabbing and the investigation is ongoing.
