Bathroom burns at Huntington State Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A beachside bathroom at Huntington State Beach became well-involved in flames early Wednesday, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 3:44 a.m. in the bathroom at Pacific Coast Highway and Brookhurst Street, a fire dispatcher at Metro Cities Dispatch said.

The fire was out at 4:21 a.m., he said. The bathrooms are made with brick, so the flames damaged the roof.

An arson investigator was called to the scene, he said.
