Police looking for man suspected of grabbing girls during their walk to school in Anaheim
Authorities are on the lookout for a man suspected of committing sexual battery against several girls near Savanna High School.
The Anaheim Police Department said in a press release that the sexual batteries started last week, with the most recent one happening Monday morning in the 2800 block of West Lincoln Avenue.
In each incident, a man between 20 and 39-years-old approached the girls from behind, grabbed them and then ran away. The man also was described as unshaven, between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build and short hair, according to police.
Law enforcement said every incident happened during a weekday morning, while students were walking to school.
“Police are reminding students and parents to be aware of their surrounds when walking to and from school, and to report suspicious people immediately by calling 911,” the department said.
