Anaheim Union High School District students headed to campus or into the community for their holiday on Monday, Jan. 21, in honor of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., and the national day of service he inspired.

The district helped students connect with community service projects, including assisting seniors with their tech gadgets, putting together care packages for veterans and cleaning up district campuses. The annual Servathon is in its fifth year.

Collectively, the junior high and high school students of the district were expected to complete about 100 projects.
