Arrest made in road-rage attack in Anaheim
Anaheim police on Friday, Jan. 25, arrested a man who is accused of climbing on a motorist’s car and smashing the windshield with his fist.
Joshua Robert Dalton, 28, of Anaheim, was arrested near his home on suspicion of felony vandalism. He was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
About 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, the victim, a 34-year-old Anaheim resident, was driving near State College Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue when she noticed a Jeep Liberty following her and driving erratically.
The Jeep pulled in front of her, forcing her to stop, police said in a news release. The Jeep driver then climbed onto the victim’s hood and broke the windshield.
The victim videotaped the attack and posted the video on social media. The woman was in her car with a 49-year-old male friend and her two children, ages 12 and 13. She said she did not know Dalton.
