Fullerton shooting leaves one hospitalized

Gunfire struck one person in Fullerton on Thursday, Feb. 7.

The shooting was reported at 7:34 p.m. near the 1900 block of Deerpark Dr., according to Fullerton Police Cpl. Mike McCaskill. He said one victim was transported from the area to UCI Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Authorities did not immediately release the identity of a victim, or a description of a possible shooter. Officers were at the scene of the crime late Thursday evening, said McCaskill.
